Who are we?
Following a successful management buyout, leading sister recycling companies CCL (North) Ltd. and Restructa Ltd., have united under a newly formed parent company as both businesses set their sights on growth and an expansion of services.
The North Ayrshire-based firms, which employ over 80 people and have been led by Bruce McLean for 22 years and 17 years respectively, will continue to operate as specialist brands under the new Optimum Eco Group Holdings. CCL specialises in secure data destruction, IT and WEEE recycling, while Restructa focuses on TV and monitor recycling.
In addition to its existing capabilities, the group is set to introduce consultancy and support services in specialist areas such as Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and Management and Fire Prevention of Batteries in WEEE.
Established in 2000, CCL is one of the UK’s leading specialists for secure data destruction, IT asset disposal and WEEE recycling.
From its 25,000sq ft facility in Irvine, North Ayrshire, CCL provides secure, environmentally safe and compliant recycling services to a broad range of business sectors, processing around 1.2 million products every year and diverting thousands of tonnes of equipment from landfill.

Irvine, North Ayrshire-based Restructa was formed in 2005 in response to the UK Government’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
It focuses on the repair, reuse and recycling of display equipment from its 25,000sq ft facility, handling more than 1000 TVs every day. Restructa has developed into a leading recycling and waste management provider, constantly striving for innovative solutions.
